Rapture Timing

When will the Rapture (the resurrection of dead believers and the assumption of living believers to heaven) occur?

Apostle Paul suggests in 1 Corinthians 15:51-55 that the Rapture will occur at the End Times when a “last trumpet” is blown. The book has additional explanations about when the “last trumpet” will occur.

Anyone familiar with the history of Christianity should not be surprised to hear that Christians will be persecuted to death before the Second Coming of Jesus. If He allowed the death of countless martyrs, and martyrdom leads to eternal blessings in heaven (Matthew 5:10-12), why would He prevent the opportunity to purify and reward His faithful followers? Jesus Himself earned the right to open the sealed scroll of the apocalypse and receive eternal praise, power, wisdom, and glory through painful death on the cross for the sins of the world (Revelation 5:9-13).

Final Holocaust

Will the world become better or worse as we enter the Last of the Last Days?

In Matthew 24:21, Jesus suggests that those times will be a time of “great distress, the kind that hasn’t taken place from the beginning of the world until now and never will again.” Since the context of this verse is referring to Israel, it suggests another holocaust, worse than that under Hitler, will occur again.

Christians too will experience a holocaust. In the same chapter, the Lord speaks of apostasy: many believers will be deceived and leave their faith. Those who keep their faith will likely be killed, as stated by the 5th seal in the Book of Revelation, chapter 6.

How Ironic that despite all the knowledge and material comforts that the future of technology promises, humanity seems to be stuck in a cycle of sin and hate! May the Lord come quickly to break this unending chaos.

Not All Gloom and Doom

Knowing how this world will end and restart gives hope to all believers. There is more to this life than death, trauma, and addiction!

For the first time in human history, God will reign over the whole world: hope for the believers and terror for the wicked.

All the world will know God. Confusion, corruption, deception, and injustice will no longer be tolerated during His thousand-year earthly reign. Longevity will be increased and a person who is a hundred years-old will be considered as a youth (Isaiah 65:20).
